Nestled in the mountain village of Vail, Skipper & Scout’s story is a beautiful blend of family, adventure, and community spirit. My journey from Boston to Vail started in 2007, when we moved our young family.  After realizing my desire to create a boutique for kids' clothing that reflects both the mountain lifestyle and my personal roots from summering at a cape cod desination.  The name Skipper & Scout, with its ties to family and the sea, adds an extra layer of meaning to the brand we started in 2014.

I wanted to not only create a boutique for kids but a community hub.  Offering more than just clothing but experiences and events that bring people together. That sense of connection and care is so important, and it’s clear your customers feel that warmth and support.
